Clax Cart Shelf Support Rod.
The after-market Rod folds down on the bottom shelf out of the way; however, when raised, it locates itself under the front of the top shelf, providing additional support and increasing the load capacity.
NB: A bottom crate will not sit securely on the base when the rod is in use...however the tray can still be used.
