The Floating Oil & Fuel Absorbent Boom is a hydrophobic polypropylene boom designed to contain and absorb oil, fuel and other hydrocarbons from water surfaces while remaining buoyant when saturated.

Specifications for Floating Oil & Fuel Absorbent Boom:

Deployment note: Allow additional boom length for bowing or a U-shaped containment layout. More than one row may be required in fast-moving water. Depending on water turbidity, booms may remain deployed for up to six months.

Suitable for marine spill response, waterways, creeks, canals and shoreline protection, these floating oil absorbent booms help contain and recover hydrocarbons. Oil absorbent pads can also be positioned inside the contained area for additional absorption.
