The Lemcol Polyurethane Wheels are legacy industrial wheels formerly available for applications ranging from hospital trolleys to gantry cranes, with capacities up to 6000kg / 6 Tonne.

Low rolling resistance helps reduce pushing effort while providing good floor protection.
Non-marking wheel material suits applications where floor marking needs to be minimised.
Oil and chemical resistance includes many oils, greases, brine, and industrial solvents.
Multiple hardness options balance shock absorption, wear resistance, rolling resistance, and load capacity.
Many heavy industrial models used cast iron wheel centres to increase the polyurethane bonding surface and reduce the risk of delamination under side load.

Important: For high-speed towing above 16km/h or drive-wheel applications, heat build-up may make the polyurethane brittle and lead to premature failure.

Originally used on hospital trolleys, industrial castors, materials handling equipment, and gantry crane applications, Lemcol polyurethane wheels can often be replaced with an equivalent castor or wheel selected to suit the required size, load capacity, and operating conditions.
