The Lemcol Polyurethane Wheels are legacy industrial wheels formerly available for applications ranging from hospital trolleys to gantry cranes, with capacities up to 6000kg / 6 Tonne.

Features of Lemcol Polyurethane Wheels:

Polyurethane construction provides high tear strength and abrasion resistance for demanding industrial applications.
Low rolling resistance helps reduce pushing effort while providing good floor protection.
Non-marking wheel material suits applications where floor marking needs to be minimised.
Resistance to oils and chemicals includes many oils, greases, brine and industrial solvents.
Multiple hardness options were available to balance shock absorption, wear resistance, rolling resistance and load capacity.
Cast iron wheel centres were used on many heavy industrial models to increase the polyurethane bonding surface and reduce the risk of delamination under side load.

Important: For high-speed towing above 16km/h or drive-wheel applications, heat build-up may cause the polyurethane to become brittle and lead to premature failure.

Originally used across hospital trolleys, industrial castors, materials handling equipment and gantry crane applications, Lemcol polyurethane wheels can often be replaced with an equivalent castor or wheel selected to suit the required size, load capacity and operating conditions.
