Crane Safety Cage WP-C4

The East West Engineering WP-C4 Crane Safety Cage is a single-person crane work platform with a 250kg working load limit, lifting chains, harness anchor point and hand rails, designed in accordance with AS 1418.17.

Features of the WP-C4 Crane Safety Cage:

Specifications for the WP-C4 Crane Safety Cage:

Specification Note: Current East West Engineering specifications list the fork pocket size as 185 x 85mm with 530mm centres. The supplied legacy specification table listed 165 x 65mm pockets with 555mm centres.

Usage Requirement: Work performed in this cage must be limited to special tasks of short duration where it is necessary to elevate personnel and it is not practicable to erect scaffolding or use a specially designed device.

Mandatory AS 1418.17 Requirement: Suspension sling sets must be supplied as an integral component of a personnel crane cage. A cage without dedicated chains or slings does not comply with the stated Australian Standards and Design Registration requirements and should not be considered for hoisting personnel.

Suitable for short-duration elevated maintenance, inspection and industrial work, this single-person crane cage, personnel lifting cage and suspended work platform provides a dedicated solution where conventional scaffolding or another specially designed access device is not practicable.
